Additional process components

In order for a laser welding process to be successful, it is important to ensure contact in the joining plane between the two components that are being joined. This kind of contact can be achieved with a clamping device, which supports the components in the joining plane and joins them together by applying pressure.

Accordingly, each application has to have a bespoke clamping concept.
In most sectors, process control or monitoring is also of great interest. With regard to this, the laser welding process offers various solutions, which should be tailored to the application concerned.
