Plastic welding with Leisterr

Plastic welding with Leister With plastic welding, workpieces made of thermoplastic are joined inseparably to one another using a combination of thermal energy and pressure. Central factors are welding speed and the length of the welding process. Plastic welding is used in many areas: For the processing of tarpaulins and plastic sealing sheets, on the roof, in earthworks, hydraulic engineering or tunnel construction, for floor coverings, in vehicle repairs and in equipment construction.

Plastic Fabrication with Leister

Easy and efficient

Thermoplastics are being used more and more for storing a huge range of liquids or for manufacturing what can be complex process equipment, such as fans or pumps. Plastic’s resistance to corrosion and material strength are usually the reasons why it is used. In addition, the price of a part made from plastic is lower than that of one made from metallic materials. Leister offers a full range of hand extruders, hand welding tools with integrated blowers, hand tools operated with an external fan (together with matching blowers), and a variety of nozzles for this application area.

Extrusion welders

Extrusion welding redefined - the brilliantly maneuverable Fusion 1 one-hand extruder with reduced design for more flexibility when welding with double-sided wire intake, automatically controlled air temperature, LED light, practical suspension device and removable handle.

The FUSION 2 convinces with its ergonomic design. The simple operation and first-class welding quality have helped it to become the breakthrough product.

WELDPLAST S1 for seam quality with plate thicknesses of 4 to 12 mm and a maximum output power of 0.8 kg/h (PVC: up to 1.15 kg/h).

The WELDPLAST S2 is a compact, ergonomically designed workhorse. The handy size extrurusion welder puts out two kilograms per hour without difficulty.

The WELSDPLAST S2 PVC has integrated corrosion protection and has been especially designed to satisfy the high requirements of PVC extrusion welding.

The WELDPLAST S4 is the first extrusion welder of its kind with brushless, maintenance-free motor for generating preheated air. Output of up to 4 kg / 8.8 lbs. of extrudate per hour is made possible thanks to the S4's powerful drive system.

WELDPLAST S6 is the world's highest rated handheld extrusion welder. With an output of 6 kg / 13.2 lbs per hour, the S6 surprisingly maneuverable.

With its long and narrow shape, the FUSION 3 enables comfortable work, even on the floor.

The somewhat shorter FUSION 3C provides an astounding output volume of up to 3.6 kilograms (8 lbs.) per hour.

Hot air hand tools

As the most compact hot-air hand tool from Leister, the HOT JET S’ low weight of 600 grams (1.3 lbs.)--including cord and slim handle--ensures high-powered, fatigue-free welding.

Handiness, reliability and versatility are the key arguments in favor of the TRIAC ST

The TRIAC AT is an intelligent hot-air hand tool for welding and shrinking plastics that is suitable for on-site use.

This is why it is lighter, quieter and more durable than any other hot-air hand tool. Discover its unbeatable advantages – SOLANO AT.

Universal tool for welding and shrinking. Thanks to its two-step airflow switching and steplessly adjustable temperature, the GHIBLI can be used for the most diverse applications.

The DIODE S easily puts you in control with a manual temperature knob.

The closed-loop DIODE PID provides the perfect welding temperature at all times.

The fatigue-free LABOR S is a "jack of all trades." Its small size makes it ideal for perfect welding in small spaces.

The WELDING PEN is a hot-air hand tool optimized  for draw welding. Due to its slim design and swivelling external air supply it makes hard work easy.
