Lots of plastics are used in the packaging of food or other consumer goods, whether in the form of containers or film. Hot air comes into play early on and is even involved in various steps of the production process. When it comes to the actual packaging of the goods, films have to be welded, containers have to be formed and sealed, tubes and cartons have to be welded, goods or packaging have to be dried, or sleeves have to be shrunk. Hot air is used during all of these steps. Leister air heaters and hot-air blowers are both highly advanced and extremely robust. As a result, they meet the high demands of the packaging industry with regard to productivity and stability. Thanks to their precise temperature control, they enable good process stability and, in turn, process reliability.
